1. Defenisi 3-dimensional Animation
Animation of a 3 dimensional (3D) is the process of making the movement of images in the loop 3 diemsni. The principle works the same with only 2 dimensional animation objects
built is waking up 3 dimensions such as: Shape, cone/cone, cube and others.
3-dimensional animation overall is done using computer assistance. Through the menu of the movement in the computer program, the entire object can be shown in 3 dimensions.
2. Basic concepts of 3D objects
3 D objects have space and volume.
3D object has a location coordinates are X, Y, and z. If on a field of 2
dimensional objects can be digerakan left to right (X) and top bottom
(Y), then on a 3-dimensional space, an object can be digerakan to the
bottom left and top right, can also digerakan to the fore and back (Z). 3D objects in general have sub objects, i.e. object-forming elements. Elements it is Vertex, Edge, and Face.
The vertex is a point located at coordinates X, Y, and z. Two vertices if combined would be the edge. The field surface is in the form of a closed curve formed from three vertex and edge (having three sides) or more is called a face. A collection of vertex, edge, and face which forms a whole object referred to by the mesh.
3. Types of modeling
3D modeling are grouped into two types namely Hardsurface and Organic. Hardsurface object is anything man-made, such as a table, buildings, machines, robots and more. While the Organic object is something that is naturally available in, for example: humans, animals, mountains, clouds even too light.
4. History and development of 3-dimensional animation
The early development of real 3D animation has already started since 1964, when Ivan Sutherland of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology successfully developed a program called Sketsachpad that is able to draw a direct line beam-beam and Cathoda ray Tube (CRT). the result is an object that is simple and basic but open the human view of how computer graphics can be used.
3D animation is a 2D animation of development. With 3D animation, the characters are shown the more vivid and real, approaching the human form of the original.
5.3D Animated Film
Since "Toy Story"-made Disney (Pixar Studios) was released on 22 November 1995, packed in what movie studios producing movies.
Presidential, Bugs Life, AntZ, Donosaurus, Final Fantasy, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, to The Incredible, Shark Tale, Cars, Valian, avatars, etc.
6. The development of 3D animation
2004
May 7, to be exact, is history for per-Animasian Indonesia with the
release of the film the story of "Visible Jogja" Vision Group is working
with the nation's Child Pimp. Garin Nugroho, film making 3D animation "Homeland" with Director Gangsar Waskito. The film has a running time of 30 minutes it berjisah matter of the adventures of a boy named Earth trying to find his imaginary circle. Until now still not much fim 3D animation created by people, here is the 3D film ever appeared dibioskop that is Brave Lion Adventure 6 September 2012, the adventures of the brave Lion 2 March 14, 2013.
7. the 3D Film industry

8. 3D animation Software
Blender, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Maxon Cinema 4 D, LightWave, SoftImage, Poser, Motion Builder, Hash Animation Master, Wings 3D, Carrara, Infini-D, Canoma, etc.
Although these features or menus in it is quite complex and cumbersome, requiring 3D animation process is simple compared to 2D relative, because all processes can be directly done within one computer software.
That's some information about the 3-dimensional animation of the book that I read from my school
